Eating a sweet-ass bread bowl of soup in the National Forest for lunch on our way home. We stopped at Erick Schat's Bakkeri (yeah, goofy spelling) and got some day (or 3) old bread for Uuber cheap.

We walked the relatively short (1 mile) Discovery loop through the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. These are the oldest living things on Earth. Yes, on the whole of the Earth, with 4000+ yr old trees.

Romy

Relaxing (and looking confused with a sweet headband) in the Hot Tub hot spring near Mammoth Lakes. After Bodie, we drove south to Mammoth, picked up a heel plate for my skis for cheap, got some subway, and camped out near some hot springs!

We visted Bodie State Park, which is a 'preserved' mining town. Most buildings were off limits (due to disrepair or residence by park employees) but this one had some cool old stuff in it.

Flash surprise! Camped out near Buckeye Hot Spring eating chili in the car. Mmmm chili. It was cold and rained a bit overnight, but we were nice and cozy in the tent.

At the dentist's office waiting for a checkup. Because of braces, I have 4 small cavities between my teeth. Awesome.
