Having a cappuccino this morning. Behind me is a piece of panel art I made yesterday. My inspiration was something I saw in the new 2011 Ikea catalog. I got all excited once I got the idea and I had to make it!

Look at me all embarrassed that I just took out the first Twilight book by Stephanie Meyer from the Oakland library. I made a deal with Nicole that if I read the book then she would join Facebook!

I was really jetlagged last night after a day straight of travel. McFlurry was dinner, along with a McCrap Chezburger.

Its early in the morning and I just woke up. I am holding the hot springs book I was ready while I ate breakfast. It came in the mail yesterday. Romy bought it without telling me - I guess it was a surprise! :-)

Saying goodbye to Romy at the SFO airport! He is going to Norway for about 3.5 weeks to do research for his master/Phd degree. He is designing a burner to burn hydrogen and learning a code to model it.

At Lucky (like Jewel, the grocery store) loading up on cereal. There was a sale for $1.77/box if you buy 10 boxes. Then they give you a coupon for $10 off your next purchase, making each box $0.77, but then we also had 5 coupons which took an additional $5 off. In the end, each box cost us $0.27 and we bought 30 boxes!

Looking at a weird VW Bug turned into a huge bug spider thing near Carson City, NV on Hwy 50.

Made it to the top of the cinder cone trail in the northeast part of Lassen National Park! It was 700ft up climbing cinder (basically like a dune).
