A double rainbow appeared this morning while we were having coffee before work. Its been raining and the sun came up and made a rainbow after sunrise!

We went to try out the new brewery that just opened in Carson City. They have pizzas and lots of saison beers. Its raining a lot now.

Nicole got raw Jersey cow milk from north of Reno. We used it for coffee.

Romy is trying to drill holes in the tree stumps so we can put the rotting stuff in them.

We went to San Francisco to see our dentist for a cleaning and some fillings. She bought us jalapeno chicken wings!

Romy is taking a machining class at Western Nevada Community College in Carson City. This is the first step to making a hammer (a billy club LOL).

The sky was all red at sunrise this morning! It was like the sky was on fire! Romy went out to take a picture.

Today I turned the "self-cleaning" mode on the oven. It smelled really bad so I had to open all the windows (good thing it was warm outside). It locked the door, heated the oven up to 1000F, and burned all the crap until it was ash for 3 hours. Then all I had to do was wipe the ash away with a damp rag. It worked so well! This was the first time I ever tried it!

Progress being done on the corner with the pine tree! Today I put up more fencing and made the 1 foot terrace to hold the deeper dirt for the tree and maybe a summer garden?

The full moon was setting this morning and the sky was pink Romy put wild bird seed out for the quail. It was interesting!

These are organic baked apple chips from red fuji apples. They are the new thing I am crazy about! I found them at Costco. THEY ARE SOOOOOO GOOD!

We put up foam insulation in the garage door to keep the garage warmer.

For the new year, we went snowshoeing at Lake Tahoe. It was warm in the sun.

Happy New Year's Eve! We went out for all you can eat sushi with Blake and Shelby. It was yummy but we were sooooo stuffed!

We took the truck to the hot springs on the Carson River today! Romy drained the one upper tub and is scrubbing it out.

Driving back home over the Sierras after AGU, there was chain control and lots of snow over Hwy 50!

Romy is working on Chase 9, a lifted Toyota 4Runner.
