Sitting in an old concrete tub in the ruins of an old abandoned hot spring resort, which is across the river from the new resort (Mono Hot Springs). Enjoying the surrounding Sequoia National Forest, and Romy's foot, at about 7,000 ft elevation.

Nicole is taking out some drywall from the Menard's truck we rented for 75 minutes. It was really heavy, and then it started to rain a little!

Taking a really bad picture with my cell phone after Cake finished their show at the Blue Lamp in Sacramento, CA. The lounge was about the size of our apartment, and they only let about 85 people in! We were so lucky to find out about it and go see them. We were literally 5 feet away from the band for the show! It was so much fun.

Today it was over 90 degrees, so we spent the afternoon outside in the back yard where its cooler. I had to work on my presentation I have to give at Berkeley on Thursday for the Norway people.

Sitting in one of the pools at Buckeye Hot Springs near Bridgeport, CA. The hot spring water dripped over the hanging travertine and made a hot water fall! It was really nice.

We saw a rainbow (right above my head) on our way over the mountains on Hwy 108 going towards Sonora Pass. We had to stop and take a picture!

Eating the ice cream we made with liquid nitrogen at Berkeley, on the balcony in LeConte Hall. It tasted pretty good! I added M&Ms, Snickers, and Oreo cookies!

Romy

I am making ice cream by mixing cream, sugar, and chocolate syrup together and putting scoops of liquid nitrogen in it to instantly freeze it! The cold fog is the liquid nitrogen.
