Sitting at my desk. . . I might not be sitting here for much longer since I'll be switching departments. I wonder where my new desk will be!

I am soo excited about my cheese that i put some pictures of it in the blog! They are getting very moldy, and are almost ready to wrap up in a few days. Then they will be in the fridge at the top where it is the warmest for about 20 days. I took them out of the humid cooler to take pictures. I hope they turn out well!

Brushing my teeth! I didn't remember to take a picture all day, so I took this one right before I went to sleep. I went to the dentist today and she said that I have good teeth and that I must brush them well because I don't have much build-up.

Look how big the garden is getting! There is a tiny baby rabbit that can fit through the fence and it has been eating the strawberries. It bites into them and then leaves them, so I've been eating a lot of biten strawberries now. It also ate some celery and bit the leaves on a brocolli! I hate the bunny! I hope it gets big and can't fit through the fence anymore! I put a separate fence around the lettuce so it cant get it.

Half way up sugar loaf mountain in Rio.  We were to cheap to pay for the cable car so we decided to walk.  Unfortunately we took a long turn and had to hike up crazy inclines in our sandals and then we came up to a huge cliff where people were rock climbing.

I am at an iron pouring in Chicago helping my friend Jessica. Behind me is the furnace that we will melt 1000 lbs of iron in. I got to crush about 150 lbs of iron from scrap radiators.

I had a salad and strawberries from the garden! Also, the brie cheeses are starting to get the first whiskers of mold. In a week, I can wrap them and age them in the fridge. Good thing, because i have to keep restocking the cheese "cave" with ice every day to keep it between 40-55 degrees and 85-95 percent humidity.

Today I made stuffed grape leaves. You can see the rice/beef stuffing, the leaves, lemons, and the pot with the rolled leaves. I cooked them up and they were really good! The grape leaves come pickled/ in brine in a big jar from tony's. I also picked up grenadine molasses, which is ground up concentrated pomegranates. You can add honey and flavor your own hookah tobacco.

This picture is crooked a little. Today I mowed the grass with the old mower. I found a baby rabbit in the grass. It was sooooo tiny and cute!

Here are two of the eight camembert cheeses I made. They came out just after midnight, and the last four are almost dry enough to salt and put into the aging box. Right now they have the consistency of feta cheese, but in about a week they will grow white fuzzy mold that becomes the rind of the cheese, and it will also make the inside soft and goey.

This is a bad picture. It is me with the two bushings from the carburetor. They just came out, and guess what? They were PLASTIC! Tomorrow I will go to ace and hopefully they have something like them.
