I'm taking a break in the union office at work. I'm posting our pictures for today. This picture is kind of dark too.

 Bon Voyage! I'm off to Brazil from O'Hare airport. The picture is really dark. Oh well.

Its a blurry picture of me in the pool after it got dark doing a kayak roll clinic. Romy and I actually successfully rolled the kayak and recovered a couple of times all by ourselves (of course the two instructors helped us out a lot at first before we got the hang of it). It takes a lot of balancing!

The first sip of our new Beer.  The name of it is "1".  It's a pale ale that was dry hopped with Saaz hops.  It was really good.  Even better then "2", which we are dirnking as we are posting this picture.

Omaha Steaks came as a graduation present from my mom! They came by mail, in a large styrofoam re-usable cooler with a block of dry ice inside to keep all of the goodies frozen!

I just planted a fig tree in my backyard. It has three baby figs on it! Romy chose the tree after I cut down an old bush that was growing there before. Life would be so boring if I wasn't with Romy who makes such interesting choices!

 These are the cheese books that I borrowed today from the library. I will make about 4 camemberts (similar to brie) in time for the vacation in June so that we can eat then while we hike.

I look happy, but also sooooo exhausted! Today I gave my master's presentation and it went well. I also bound my master's thesis, and its ready to turn in to the mechanical engineering department as well as the UC Berkeley library!

We were busy bottling 13 gal of American Pale Ale beer saturday morning. Thats over 130 bottles!
