We finally opened and ate the 16 year old chocolate rose that I got Romy when he graduated from high school (in the year 2000)!!! It wasn't even that bad!

Woo hoo! The windows are done being stained, varnished, and trimmed!

One of the double doors is all finished being painted!

This paint is super thick and its made for road signs. We had to let it dry for three days!

So Mammoth Brewing in Mammoth Lakes, CA expanded big time. We were coming over to their tasting room for so long, since grad school. They were always in a small warehouse garage type place. Now they have their own corner spot in the center of the Mammoth Lakes touristy area where they serve full beers and food and have a beer garden!!! Go Mammoth!

On the crazy California State Route 4, from 89 heading west towards Bear Valley, where our fellow Dingo is getting married today at high noon!

BENTON HOT SPRINGS!!!! In Benton, California!!! Where every campsite has a hot tub (this one was ours for the night). Happy 10 year anniversary!

We had lunch at Twister's today, which is surprisingly really good. I had the green chile stew.

The mini sunflowers are exploding all over the place now. We have a huge bunch by the greenhouse.

Today we are varnishing and painting the new double doors.

We went to La Salida for lunch today in Albuquerque (it's Friday!) and for dessert, sopapillas were included (fried dough that you pour honey and cinnamon sugar on). Mmmmmmm. I don't remember why I was holding up the water, except that it was a gigantic cup.

Its a new dramatic style of eating raisins.
