Two years ago this day (
link) I passed my oral qualifying exam at Berkeley. Today I had my first job interview at the Desert Research Institute in Reno, NV and I am soooo happy to say that it went well and everyone there was super nice, interested, and welcoming. Now I am eager to hear back to see what will happen! This is a picture of Romy and I happy that the interview is over and enjoying the sunset over the Sierra Nevada mountains from the 8th floor of the parking garage.
