At Berkeley Bowl, they had a HUGE pumpkin squash thing. It must of weighed hundreds of pounds. They had it on display in the produce section.

Today we tried to see how long we could keep the kumquat in our mouth before chewing or swallowing. They were so sour!

We went wine tasting today and had a picnic at the winery in Livermore.

We took a walk across almost the entire Golden Gate Bridge. It was so sunny and warm. We saw a seal swimming under the bridge, and we waved to a bunch of sailboats.

Today we drove the Dashwood to school. Little did we know all the problems that it would give us. . .

Today we went to the Forest of Nicene Marks and took a walk along the beach in Santa Cruz. It was such a nice day!

Marcel, my mom, and I went to the Grand National Rodeo at the Cow Palace near San Francisco tonight. We saw Clydesdale horses up close. THEY ARE SOOOOO BIG!

Today we went out to dinner with our mom at a tapas bar and had some good wine! Dates wrapped with bacon!

Today we went to see the 49ers football game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco with Dave and Tracey, Nicole and Marcel's friends from Chicago. The 49ers creamed Tampa Bay!

We took a long hike (almost 10 miles) in Sunol Regional Wilderness. We saw three snakes, and a lot of cows!

We baked another batch of gluten free bread. I tried putting baking soda and baking powder in it in addition to the yeast, so it would rise more, but it didn't.

Weighing some VW parts so I can sell and ship them out.

Today I am making my second batch the almond milk with the vitamix. It blends the almonds so crazy that it actually homogenizes the milk!

Today we got lunch from Urban Turban. We got brown basmati rice with chicken tandoori, veggies, coconut, mint, and cilantro. It was soooooo good! It was kind of drizzling today.

Today I bought a Vitamix blender used on craigslist. My old blender wasn't powerful enough to make almond milk, and it started to break after just one month of me using it (it was cheap).

Today was practice on the whiteboard to get ready for my qual in about a week! I can't wait until its over!

Cheers! Today we went to check out the Oktoberfest at the intersection of Fruitvale and MacArthur Ave.

Today was Oktoberfest in the Dimond District of Oakland, and it was taking place just a few blocks away from where we live. So we tried some beer brewed all over the Bay Area.
