Wow! A letter came to me at work from Alaska. I was awarded a travel grant by the U.S. Permafrost Association to help pay for my plane ticket to Portugal this June for the 4th European Permafrost Conference. Yay! Thank you!

Check out the lawn! Its still yellow but soon the sprinklers will be turned back on and it will be green again! I just raked it and trimmed it.

Romy's working on his KLR (which needed much more work than mine, but was also half the price). Needs a new battery and a new seat for now.
