I am sitting at my new desk in McCone that has windows! I can see Memorial Glade and the big library from my window. I can hear the bells ring from the clock tower! I can feel fresh ocean breezes!
My head was cut off! But thats okay - today is my last day at my desk in Etcheverry Hall at Berkeley (the one on the picture)! I am now moving to my new desk in McCone Hall, and I have a desk with a window to the outside world! Yay! Its so exciting!
We trimmed, pruned, and swept in the backyard garden this morning. When we came back from vacation, we noticed somebody (probably our annoying landlord) took all of the low-hanging lemons from the Meyer lemon tree that hangs into our backyard. So we got out the step ladder and picked some of the higher up lemons while they were ripe. They're huge!
We stopped at the Bonneville salt flats in western Utah. The famed mile on the salt flats where everybody races for land speed records is about 7 miles behind us.
I am riding the Sinclair dinosaur in Steamboat Springs, CO! We decided to drive back on Route 40 because I-70 westbound was closed as we were leaving Golden, CO because of an accident!!!
Wiping off bug splat! Somewhere in Nebraska. Today we visited Romy's grandma Ellen Frederick in Kearney and brought her a Culver's Butter Burger with fries and onion rings for lunch. Mmmmm.
Pausing to take a picture during a pizza party at Jerrene's place the day before we left on our drive back home. People in the picture from left to right: (above) Jenn, Jerrene, Adrianne, Nicole, (below) Romy, Rich.
Spending the evening with Bobby and Julie, who just got engaged and are getting married in May 2011!!!! This photo is really bad quality, but its the only one we had.
We are enshrouded by stream which blocked out the sun near the hot springs in Yellowstone National Park. It was cold and actually snowed there (in July) the next day!
We had dinner and a few beers at the Snake River Brewery in Jackson Hole, WY. Very good beer, but Nicole had a few messages she wanted to give to the master brewer on how to improve some of them!
I am smiling because I found a whole wall with the crazy animal shirts that I like, in Jackson hole, WY! But they were tooooo expensive, so I didn't get any, only a picture!
Near the middle of our hike up Cascade Canyon in the Grand Tetons National Park. We camped that night in the south fork, which goes to Hurricane Pass. We wanted to do the Teton Crest Trail, but there was too much snow, so we only camped one night in the high mountains.
